The Alternative Degree Show Festival May - July 2021
The event came about as an alternative in times of Covid pandemic, a show organised by a small group of the Glasgow School of Art graduate students for 2021 and 2020 GSA School of Fine Art graduates. We have secured 12 venues around Glasgow to show work of over 140 artists, including film festival, online events and artists talks, catalogue, Instagram takeovers and a website: https://linktr.ee/thealtdegreeshowfestival
I am proud of our small committee to have pulled together such an exciting event and grateful to the GSA, WASPS, Skypark, St Enoch, RogArt Street Campus, Pipe Factory, French Street, 16 Nicholson Street, SWG3, Transmission, Mid-Wharf Art and Design, the Wash House and Woodlands Community Gardens for their support and provision of venues.
